Playing & Learning
For young children, play is the path children take to learning. It’s the way they expand their cognitive, social, emotional, language and motor abilities. Play challenges children and helps them understand the world around them. At Play and Learn, we use age-appropriate play – in a nurturing environment – to help children ages six weeks through school-age develop and grow.

Parents Also Learn (PALs) , is the Play and Learn parent resource center where you’ll find lots of useful information about child development, safety, nutrition, technology, and family fun. We invite you to post your comments, ideas and best practices, so we can all learn from each other.

Play & Learn's two newest centers Norristown and Royersford are open for business. Both centers serve county employees at a discounted tuition, CCIS families and families living and working in and around the Norristown and Royersford communities. Look for us at 1430 Dekalb Street, Norristown and 1600 Black Rock Road, Royersford.
