The Gerstadt Center is located on Old York Road, directly across from Abington Memorial Hospital, near the intersection of Old York Road and Woodland Avenue. Opened in 2003, the Gerstadt Center provides convenient, on-site child care for Abington Memorial Hospital employees and students, who receive tuition discounts and priority enrollment. Community families are also welcome to enroll.

Our Center was designed with children in mind. The spacious playground has separate areas for younger and older children and paved areas for riding toys. Indoors you’ll find brand new, bright, cheerful classrooms for learning centers and play.

At the Gerstadt Center, Play & Learn staff are dedicated to meeting the developmental needs of children ages six weeks through preschool and will be offering full-day kindergarten licensed by the Department of Education. Extended hours accommodate a variety of full-time and part-time schedules, providing families with convenience and flexibility. Our Center Director and teaching staff look forward to welcoming you and your child to the Gerstadt Center.
